Crumbs Are Also Bread premiered at the Washington Ensemble Theatre in February 2007, directed by John Langs. Her play W(h)acked premiered at Live Girls! and was also produced by Willamette University Theatre in February 2007, directed by Susan Coromel. She wrote the script for Frankenocchio, which opened the 2005 season at the Empty Space Theatre. Her play, Li'l Heroes, was finalist for the 2006 Heideman Award, and was awarded Best Show at The Looking Glass Theater's Summer Forum in New York, directed by Jacquelyn Honeyborne. Stephanie was a Principal Playwright with Seattle Dramatists, and a recent recipient of an Artist Trust GAP Grant. Other original works include Kingdom of Dust, Down the Garden Path, Break My Body, and Knee Deep in Thin Air. Her work has been performed at On the Boards, Capitol Hill Arts Center, and the FringeACT Festival of New Original Work, among others. She teaches at the Hugo House, with the Young Playwrights Program through ACT Theatre, and was a guest artist and instructor at Willamette University in 2007. She is currently getting her MFA in playwriting at UC San Diego under the mentorship of Naomi Izuka.
